About Us:
Cudo Ventures is a team of business leaders and developers who came together to live the mission of creating tech for good. Our vision is to enable more efficient use of the world’s computing resources. Through our innovative platforms and network, we use spare computing power to create a decentralized, sustainable and connected world. We aim to empower people and organisations to earn and save through cheaper, accessible, and sustainable computing by utilising spare capacity.
At our core, we design and develop cutting edge technology. Cudos is the decentralised, cloud-computing network powered by Cudo Compute, connecting consumers of cloud computing to providers looking to monetise their underutilised hardware. Powered by the CUDOS token, we unite cloud and blockchain to provide organisations with up to 10x more cost-effective computing.
Alongside CUDOS & Compute, we also built one of the largest automated cryptocurrency mining tools (Cudo Miner). Miner has lowered the barrier of entry for users new to cryptocurrency and provided tools to allow experienced users to manage large farms of rigs.
We are scaling fast and hiring talented people globally to join us on our journey. Regardless of age, education, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or any personal characteristics, we want everyone to feel welcome. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive equal opportunity workplace everyone can call home. For more information, please visit us at www.cudoventures.com
The Role:
We have big ambitions to be at the forefront of employee experience in our industry and we’re working hard to get there fast. We have big plans therefore, and lots of projects on the go that we need support with.
Reporting to the Head of People & Business Support, your role will be to pick up where the team has got to so far in terms of strategic project work. You'll take ownership for the specific projects and, working at a very fast pace, drive the projects forward to completion, embedding them into the culture and ensuring adoption. You will of course have the support of the rest of the team in doing this.
You will play a key role in delivering People initiatives which will increase efficiency, reduce costs and contribute significantly to overall business success. The areas for immediate focus are Wellbeing, Internal communications including building relationships, and D E & I.
You don’t need to be a qualified Project Manager, we’re looking for more of a doer to get stuck in and make things happen.
This is a fixed term role which we anticipate to be 3-6 months. We don't mind if you're full or part-time but we're looking for someone to commit to a minimum of 3 days a week. We also don't mind if you want to be an employee or a contractor.
What you’ll get to do:
Drive the development, implementation and adoption of a variety of People projects/initiatives
Take responsibility for end-end project management including project planning, ensuring governance, mitigating risk and chairing project update calls
Support the Head of People and Business Support in identifying further immediate project needs
What you’ll bring with you:
Strong People/HR generalist
Project management/implementation experience in People/HR initiatives
An understanding of strategic People/HR initiatives and the reasons behind their implementation
Experience in a tech environment
The ability to mitigate risks and bring solutions to stakeholders surrounding projects
Prince 2 (or equivalent) is highly desirable
CIPD Qualification or equivalent is highly desirable
A data driven approach
Experience of leading/having strong involvement in a People/HR transformation project is essential
